Configuring the Submitter mode for BMC Service Request Management

After installation is complete, you must perform the following procedure to enable users to update service requests that they submitted, even if they do not have write permissions.

To configure Submitter mode

  1. From the BMC Remedy AR System Administration Console, select System > General > Server Information.
  2. In the Licenses tab, set Submitter Mode to Locked.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Restart the BMC Remedy AR System server.
