This section provides supplementary information about upgrading BMC Remedy ITSM applications. For end-to-end instructions on upgrading BMC Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM) along with BMC Remedy AR System and BMC Atrium CMDB, see Upgrading in the BMC Remedy AR System online documentation.

As of the version 8.0.00 release, you can upgrade BMC Knowledge Management by using the BMC Remedy IT Service Management installer. For more information, see Mixed version upgrades.
