Application Access Request
The IT content pack provides a service to request access to a business application such as MS Teams, Office 365, or WorkDay. End users can specify the date from which they require access and specify the reason why. Depending on the user selection, the approval branching is triggered for manager, individual, or group approval.

The Application Access Request service includes the following three types of approvals:

This approval process is out of the box with BMC Helix ITSM, which is used as-is in the workflow.

This custom approval process is created for the content pack. The same process is used for individual and group approvals.
For individual approval, the specific approver is configured in the Flex Char 01 field, which is set in this approval process.

This is a custom approval process created for the content pack. The same process is used for individual or group approvals.
For group approval, the specific approval group is configured in the Flex Char 01 field to include individuals belonging to the Access Management support group with the Request Approver functional role.
