Accessing BMC Remedy Smart Reporting

After successful installation, you can access BMC Remedy Smart Reporting from BMC Remedy Mid Tier. The first time you access BMC Remedy Smart Reporting, you must update your user profile settings and set your set your locale and time zone for BMC Remedy Smart Reporting.

To directly access BMC Remedy Smart Reporting

From this release, you can now directly access BMC Remedy Smart Reporting using the following link:

  1. Enter the http://<MTServerName>:<Port>/arsys/smartreporting URL. For example: https://orgmt.com:8443/arsys/smartreporting.
    The Mid Tier login screen is displayed.
  2. Enter the user name and password of the Remedy AR System server.
    The default BMC Remedy Smart Reporting landing page opens (typically, the Timeline tab of your user profile in BMC Remedy Smart Reporting).

Note

This direct access is not supported from the BMC Remedy Smart Reporting mobile application.

To access BMC Remedy Smart Reporting through BMC Remedy Mid Tier

  1. Log on to BMC Remedy Mid Tier.
  2. From the Applications menu, select Smart Reporting > Smart Reporting Console.
    The default landing page opens (typically, the Timeline tab of your user profile in BMC Remedy Smart Reporting).

You can customize your display preferences from your user profile settings and make the Browse or Dashboard page the default landing page for the interface.
