Managing task assignment rules

Task assignment rules are used to stop the process from continuing until a given criteria is met.


By default, approval assignment rules are configured and should not be changed.

When a task in a process uses an assignment rule, its status remains on hold (Pending Task Rule) until the condition defined in the rule is met. For example, you can define the rule to run a set of tasks only after an approval of a change request is rejected.
