Tracking cases or tasks that fetch no response
BMC Helix Innovation Studio includes a BWF Empty State component, which is available in the Shared Components section of the View designer. The BWF Empty State component is visible only if you deploy the Shared Components bundle.
Use this component to show customized messages when there are no records to fetch. For example, No records are available.
To add the BWF Empty State component to a view definition
- Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Workspace tab.
- Select the application for which you want to add a BWF Empty State component.
- On the Views tab, click the name of the view definition to which you want to add a BWF Empty State component.
- From Palette, drag the BWF Empty State component.
In the Properties pane, click Settings
, and then specify the properties as indicated in the following table:Property

Enter a name that you want to display for the icon.

Select the icon logo from the list.
Hidden
Turn on the toggle key to disable the BWF Empty State button.
Inverted
Turn on toggle key to invert the label text color.
