Updating or deleting flows

You can update a flow to modify its behavior, or delete it if it no longer serves your purpose.

To update a flow

Notes

  • Only the user who created a personal flow can update that flow.
  • Only administrators can update catalog flows. If a user publishes a catalog flow from a personal flow, then that user can update the personal flow and re-publish it. If a catalog flow is currently in use, its trigger conditions and field mappings cannot be updated.
  • All administrators in a tenant can update tenant-level flows.
  1. In BMC Helix Integration Studio, perform one of the following actions:

    • To update a personal flow or a tenant-level flow, go to My Flows, and select a flow.
    • To update a catalog flow, navigate to Catalog > Flows, and next to a required flow, click Edit.

  2. Change the following fields as required (all other values are read-only):

    • Flow title—You can overwrite the flow title text.
    • Category—You can select a different flow category.
    • Flow Level—You can select a different flow level.
    • Dashboard Metrics—You can add, remove, or hide a metric.
    • (Not available for catalog flows) Conditions, under the Details tab.
    • (Not available for catalog flows) Field Mapping, under the Details tab.

The page refreshes automatically, and you can see the updated flow information.
