Performing configured actions by using action label
To add the Action Label component to a view definition
- Log in to BMC Helix Innovation Studio and navigate to the Workspace tab.
- Select the application for which you want to add an Action Label component.
- On the Views tab, click the name of the view definition to which you want to add an Action Label component.
- From Palette, drag the Action Label component.
In the Properties pane, click Settings
, and then specify the properties as indicated in the following table:
Property

View component name
Enter Action Label alias.
The Action Label alias helps identify different components when you have multiple action labels.
Title
Enter title for Action Label. For the primary or secondary button type, the title is displayed as the clickable link or button text.
Label
Enter a name that you want to display for the Action Label at runtime.
CCS classes
Define a CSS class at runtime.

Hidden
Use this toggle button to hide the Action Label at runtime.
Type
Define the Action Label type from the following options:
- Primary
- Secondary
- Tertiary
Size
Define the size of the Action Label.
Width
Define the width of the Action Label. Provide width in pixel or character length.
Icon name
Enter a name for the Action Label icon.
Icon alignment
Define icon alignment.
Action
Define an action that you want to associate with an Action Label.
Click Save.
Result
The result displays an Action Label Console that opens a new console.
