BMC Helix Knowledge Management by ComAround is a subscription-based service that you can purchase individually or with BMC Helix Virtual Agent Basic and Advanced licenses. After you subscribe to the service, BMC activates your system. 

BMC Helix Knowledge Management by ComAround is a multi-tenant system and includes the following environments and integrations: 

  • Environments—Production
  • Integrations (if required)—Microsoft Azure Active Directory

Setting up BMC Helix Knowledge Management by ComAround

BMC provides you different types of setups based on your subscription:

  • If you purchase the standalone Open link subscription, BMC provides you a blank BMC Helix Knowledge Management by ComAround portal.
  • If you purchase BMC Helix Knowledge Management by ComAround subscription with BMC Helix Virtual Agent Basic Open link or Advanced Open link licenses, BMC provides you a blank BMC Helix Knowledge Management by ComAround portal and a blank BMC Helix ITSM instance. 

Before you make BMC Helix Knowledge Management by ComAround available to the users in your company, you can modify the following portal configurations:
