Importing the BMC Helix Innovation Studio content package

The Starter kit comes with a BMC Helix Innovation Studio content package that is be leveraged by some of the use cases within the Starter kit.  In this step you will be importing this package to enable these use cases.

Open the content-package folder. This folder contains the contents package for the BMC Helix Innovation Studio Chatbot Starter Kit bundle. The content package consists of BMC Helix Innovation Studio Records, Processes, Documents and Web APIs which are leveraged in the BMC Helix Innovation Studio driven use case services.


Note: The prerequisite to install this content package is to have Chatbot Starter Kit bundle installed in BMC Helix Innovation Studio. Open the BMC Helix Innovation Studio Workspace tab and verify that the content package is installed as shown below. To install the content package, you should be a Tenant Admin.



You will find com.bmc.chatbot.chatbotstarterkit-lib-1.00.00-CONTENT-20.08.00.zip content package in the folder.
To import the content package, open the Chatbot Starter Kit bundle. Click Actions on the top right-hand corner and select Import Definitions and Data option as shown below. This will ask you to select the content file. Select the content package mentioned above.



After you successfully import the content package, you will see the following components in their corresponding tabs:

  • Records: Country HR Source Data
  • Processes:
    • Get Country HR Source Data
    • Get Leave Balance
    • Get Weather
    • Request Time Off
  • Documents: Open Weather Current Weather
  • Web APIs: Open Weather API
