RFC status codes
The following change request status codes reflect the status of a request for change (RFC) during the change process:
Status | Definition |
|---|---|
Initiated | The change has been received and is pending review by the BMC Change team. |
In Progress | The change has been acknowledged and assigned to a BMC Change Manager. The requested change times are under review. |
Scheduled for Approval | The change has been approved by BMC, and is awaiting final approval by the requester. At this phase, BMC may propose an alternative start date and time if the requested slot is unavailable. |
Scheduled | Business and technical assessments have been completed. The change has been approved by both BMC and the requester and committed to the change scheduler. |
Implementation In Progress | The change is actively being executed. |
Completed | The change is complete. |
Closed | The change request has been closed. |
Cancelled | The change request has been canceled. |
Important
On the Case Management Details page, the Request ID field has a value of Pending until a CRQ number is assigned. A CRQ number is usually assigned in less than one minute.
Comments
In the first notification I get Status = Initiated. This seems to be missing in the table above.
I assume the status In-Progress comes after Approved?
How do statuses map to the flow received in the notification:
Technical Review > Request for Authorization > Schedule > Change Promotion
