Setting up and going live
BMC Helix Portal provides a set of integrated products and shared common services from a single, unified view.
When you subscribe for one or more of the integrated products, you are eligible to use BMC Helix Portal by default.

1 | Register with BMC and activate BMC Helix Portal.
If you registered for free trial, note that free trial remains active for 14 days only. During the trial, you get unrestricted access to all the capabilities available with the integrated products and common services. 2 | Provide consent for data collection. When you log in for the first time as a tenant administrator, provide your consent for data collection in the Allow data collection for product improvement dialog box. By default, the data collection settings are disabled for a tenant administrator. To provide your consent for data collection for all the users:

4 | Set up user accounts and grant access. Set up users, user groups, and roles. Assign the users and user groups to appropriate roles with permissions.
