Foundation field mappings in Remedy ITSM and BMC Helix Platform

Before you load Foundation data from Remedy IT Service Management (Remedy ITSM) to BMC Helix Platform, you might want to understand how Foundation data from fields in Remedy ITSM is mapped to fields in BMC Helix Platform. The Foundation data model differs between Remedy ITSM and BMC Helix Platform.  Most fields from Remedy ITSM Foundation and mapped to fields in the BMC Helix Platform Foundation library.

Customers can refer this topic to understand which fields are mapped to the BMC Helix Platform Foundation library, and how they are mapped.

      Apologies for the delay in response.


      BMC Helix Platform does not have a mechanism to filter out data or load partial data from Remedy ITSM in BMC Helix Platform.

      While loading Remedy ITSM Foundation data to BMC Helix Platform, the initial data sync loads all the data from Remedy ITSM. The subsequent data load synchronizes all the changes made to Remedy ITSM Foundation data, such as modifications, deletions, and association changes.
