Configuring the TrueSight Orchestration cloud connector


Important

The cloud connector for this application is will be disabled until further notice. BMC recommends that you configure the on-premises connector instead. For more information, see Configuring-the-TrueSight-Orchestration-connector.

As an automation engineer, you configure the cloud connector to establish a connection between 

BMC Helix Intelligent Automation

 and 

TrueSight Orchestration

.

Note

You can connect to  by using the cloud connector only if your  is deployed as an on-premises BMC Helix IT Operations Management deployment. If your automation tool is not publicly accessible, you must download and install a plugin in your local environment to grant access to . For more information, see Configuring-the-TrueSight-Orchestration-connector.

To configure the TrueSight Orchestration connector

  1. In the BMC Helix Intelligent Automation console, go to Connectors > Available Connectors.
  2. Click Configure against the TrueSight Orchestration connector.  
  3. Enter a unique name.
  4. Enter the endpoint URL for the TrueSight Orchestration Grid Manager application.
  5. Enter the username and password required to access the Grid Manager.
  6. Click Save.
    The connector is saved and appears under the Configured Connectors tab with the status as Connected.
    If the connector is not successfully connected, the status appears as 
    Disconnected
