Viewing a dashboard JSON model
As a tenant administrator, an editor, or a viewer, you can view the JSON model of a dashboard to perform the following tasks:
- View the dashboard metadata
- Copy the JSON model to use it as a base to create a new dashboard
- Export dashboards
- Import dashboards
To view the JSON model of a dashboard, click the Dashboard settings icon 
for the dashboard, and click JSON Model.
If you make any changes to the model, click Save Changes, and then click Save dashboard on the left navigation pane.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
