Pivotal Cloud Foundry view - PCF Overviews

Overview

The goal of the BMC Helix Continuous Optimization Pivotal Cloud Foundry - Overview page is to provide at-a-glance aggregated capacity visibility over all of the main Pivotal Cloud Foundry's components - PCF Applications and PCF Foundations (Deployment).

For each component three doughnut graphs are represented, showing the number of entities of the specific component based on the corresponding capacity status:

• Usage: the Applications and Foundations' average capacity status from the usage perspective
• Risk: the PCF Applications and PCF Foundation's average risk score on how many days are left to be saturated in terms of 30 days
• Efficiency: the PCF Applications and PCF Foundation's average efficiency score 

Please refer to the section Threshold, Bottleneck & Status on the Pivotal Cloud Foundry View home page for more details on how the capacity status is calculated for each entity. 

As we can see from the picture below each doughnut:

• is scaled with the number of components taken into account
• has a color dependent on the component capacity status
• can be moved in the "Favorites" tabs clicking on the associated star
