Editing Master Tickets

You can edit the Master Tickets for which you are authorized. In addition, if your administrator has configured business rules to do so, subtask tickets can be updated automatically by editing their Master Ticket.

To edit a Master Ticket

  1. On your Home page, select the Master Ticket that you want to modify and click Edit.
    The Master Ticket details page appears.
  2. Modify the fields as needed.

  3. To update the linked subtask tickets, follow the instructions in Updating subtask tickets from a Master Ticket.
  4. Click Save.

Master Tickets are normally not closed until after all of the subtasks are closed. For more information, see Closing Master Tickets and their subtask tickets.
