    • The help text and mouse over text are not migrated because the Attachments section is predefined and not configurable.
    • There is no help text property in the Attachments section, but the layout of ticket form enables you to provide useful information preceding the Attachments section. The information is displayed in close proximity of the section.
    • You can see each section separately on Administration tab. However, when a user creates a ticket, all sections are displayed on single page.
    • You can click the section name, scroll or use the Tab key to navigate through the page.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, review you must review the Attachments tab in FootPrints version 11.0. In FootPrints version 12.0, you can use the HTML/Code form control to display text and helpful information in Attachments. You can place the HTML/Code form control at the end of the preceding section or create a new section with useful name.

The following steps guide you to configure the HTML/Code form control properties for attachments.

  1. Navigate to Administration > Workspace> (ticket) > Forms.
  2. Add a HTML/Code form control on the ticket form and place it at the bottom of the section preceding Attachments or place it in a new section.
  3. In the Code text box of the Properties tab, specify the text about the attachments to show to the users.
The following image displays HTML/Code form control placed in Attachment section.
  4. Save and publish the form.
