Closing your tickets

If customers are authorized to close tickets, you can close your own tickets when they have been completed.

To close a ticket

  1. On your Home page, locate the ticket that you want to close.
  2. Select the ticket and click Edit.
    The ticket details appear with editing enabled. 
  3. Review the latest comments in the Description field.
  4. To update the Description, type the information in the text field.
  5. In the Status field, select a "closed" status.
  6. Click Save.
    The ticket is closed and email updates are sent to you and the assigned agent.
  7. To close the ticket pane and return to the default view, click the small x on the tab.
