The following system requirements apply to BMC AMI Fast Path Online Restructure for IMS.

IBM z/OS operating system Version 1.10 or later
All IBM supported releases of IMS
APF authorization for the BMC AMI Fast Path Online Restructure for IMS load library

The following processing requirements apply to BMC AMI Fast Path Online Restructure for IMS:

Database Recovery Control (DBRC) registration is required for the database to be restructured.
Additional DASD is required for the primary shadow area data sets.
A short online outage is required for the restructured database.
IFP utility and HSSP processing are limited during restructure processing.
The following requirements apply for IMSPLEX processing:
- Use the same ACBLIB data set names for the IMS systems in the IMSPLEX.
- Use the same active ACBLIB data set names (ACBLIBA/ACBLIBB) for the IMS systems in the IMSPLEX.
- BMC recommends that you use //OLCSTAT DD for all IMS systems. This action automatically forces the same active ACBLIB usage.
