This section provides an overview of BMC AMI Fast Path Indexer for IMS, a product that lets you build indexes for Fast Path primary data-entry databases (DEDBs). Read this section if you are not familiar with creating and using indexes with hierarchically structured databases, or if you are a new user of BMC AMI Fast Path Indexer for IMS.
