SCRUB


Use the SCRUB keyword to scrub all sensitive user data in the output image copy.

Do not scrub data from an image copy that might be used for normal database recovery purposes.

Do not specify the NOTIFY keyword as NOTIFY=YES. This will ensure that the scrubbed image copy is not recorded within the DBRC.

Syntax

The SCRUB keyword has the following syntax:

SCRUB=<parameter>

Parameters

Specify one of the following parameter values:

Value

Description

NONE

Do not scrub values from data fields and segment keys.

YES

Scrub values from all data fields. Segment key values are not scrubbed.

DATA

Specifying DATA is equivalent to specifying YES: scrubs values from all data fields, and does not scrub segment key values.

ROOTKEYS

Scrub values from all data fields and root segment keys.

SEGMKEYS

Scrub values from all data fields and dependent segment keys.

KEYS

Scrub values from all data fields, root segment keys, and dependent segment keys.
