Use the SYNONYM_CHAIN_LENGTH keyword to specify a threshold setting when analyzing or monitoring DEDB activity.
The average number of segments randomized to each RAP block is computed and compared with a user-specified setting. If the average is greater than the user-specified setting, a warning message is issued.
Note
If you do not specify the SYNONYM_CHAIN_LENGTH keyword, this threshold test is not performed.
