EXTRACT_FORMAT

Use the EXTRACT_FORMAT keyword to specify the format of the extract file created by the EXTRACT command.

Use

EXTRACT_FORMAT is an optional keyword for the EXTRACT command.

Syntax

EXTRACT_FORMAT=parameter

Parameters

Specify one of the following parameter values:

Value

Description

EXTRACT

Thefile is in the standard format for the Fast Path/EP offline or online DEDB data extract process. This format is defined in DEDB Data Extract record layout.

HDUNLOAD

The file is in a format compatible with the IBM HD Reorganization Unload utility.

USER

The file is in a format that is specified by using the SEGMENT_RECORD_PREFIX and SEGMENT_RECORD_SUFFIX keywords, and the OUTPUT and USER_RECORD subcommands.
