Moving tickets to other workspaces


You can move tickets to other workspaces for further action. 

Warning

Limited access in new location

If you move a ticket to a workspace where you have limited or no access, you may not be able to view the ticket in its new location.

To move a ticket to another workspace

  1. On your Home page, select the ticket that you want to move and double-click the Ticket Number to open it.
  2. Click Actions > Move.
    The Move to dialog box appears, showing the workspace and item from the original ticket.
  3. In the Destination field, select the new workspace.
  4. In the Item field, select the appropriate item.
  5. Click OK.
    A new ticket opens, showing the information from the original ticket in any fields that occur in both ticket forms.
  6. (Optional) Modify the ticket as needed, using the information in Updating-tickets.
  7. Click Save and select a save option.
    The new ticket is created in the destination workspace. The original ticket is no longer available in the original workspace.
