Deleting CIs
You can delete configuration items (CIs) for which you have deletion rights if they are stored in a FootPrints database. To delete CIs stored in an external database, you must delete the records in that database.
To delete a CI
- On the CMDB Home page, select the CI that you want to delete.
If the CMDB Home page is not visible, click the More tab at the top of window and select CMDB to open it. - Click Delete.
A confirmation message appears. - Click Yes.
The list refreshes and the deleted CI no longer appears in it.
