Configuring services

Services are a key element for Service Portfolio, Service Catalog, or Service Level Agreements. As a part of your support organization, you can offer various services to your customer which provide them the required assistance. It might be challenging to figure out what services you want to offer to your customers. After you decide what services you want to offer to your customers, you must create the required services in the FootPrints in a Service Portfolio. Based on your requirements, you can configure the different types of record and decide which fields you want to track for you services. Once the configuration part is complete, the system administrator must configure the required fields, workflows, or business rules to maintain these services. The services can be utilized in FootPrints by the users who have access to create or modify them.
