Business process templates

FootPrints includes business process templates to serve your business needs.

  • The HelpDesk template creates a basic Incident tracking workspace to support your customer's IT needs. This will create one Workspace and one Address Book in FootPrints.
  • The Human Resources template allows HR to track general HR case management activities. This will create one Workspace and one Address Book in FootPrints.
  • The IT Service Management template configures the system to track Incidents, Problems, Requests, Knowledge Base, Change Requests, Configuration Management, Service Catalog, and Service Level Management. This will create two Workspaces, one Address Book, one CMDB, one Service Portfolio, and Knowledge Base in FootPrints.

These templates include the basic elements (data containers [such as Workspaces and Address Books], field definitions, business rules, and so on) required to create an environment for the selected business process. Based on your requirement, you can then create configurations that support your processes.

Using the business process templates makes moving to production faster and can help you quickly understand the capabilities provided by FootPrints.
