The following table lists items that are new or have changed in FootPrints 2019 Release 02:
Enhancement | Description | Topics updated |
---|---|---|
New user interface themes | New set of themes are introduced that provide a modern user interface. In all, there are six new themes, each with a unique primary color that in most cases would map to your organization's color preferences. Note All legacy and existing themes as deprecated for future releases. | Configuring portals |
Reports and Analytics performance improvement | Significant performance improvements were made specifically in the following areas:
Lab tests indicate a minimum of 30 to 50 percent improvement in the time it takes to launch/perform these steps. | NA |
'After Save On Update By Rule' business rule improvement | ‘After Save’ rules if triggered by a rule, performs Create New Record actions. This improvement addresses various defects (DRZNZ-4281, DRZNZ-1792, DRZNZ-4980, DRZNZ-928, DRZNZ-587). The only limitation with such rule actions is only two iterations are performed. After the third iteration, the application detects and blocks it as a potential recursive action leading to unintended behavior. | Processing of Business Rules having After Save trigger |
Releasing user license | If the user clicks the "X" button to close the browser, the license still remains active for three minutes and is automatically released after that. FootPrints does not hold the license for a session time-out duration any more. | Licenses |
Support for OpenJDK 11.0.2 and 12.0.2 | Support for OpenJDK 12 is now included | System requirements |
Error message changes | The stack trace is recorded in the footprints.log file and a generic message is displayed (instead of the stack trace) on the browser. The original error message remains the same. | NA |
LDAP Address Book improvement | You can now use more than one DN in the LDAP configuration and get the right value wherever you have configured the address book. Previously, the contact information was not correctly populated and sometimes ended up having blank/null values. | NA |
