Reloading rules for Auto cancel clients option

You might have to reload the auto cancel rules for various reasons, for example, updating the PROCLIB rule member name.

Warning

Important

You can edit the PROCLIB rule member even after the Auto cancel clients option is activated. This can be done without shutting down the IMS Connect.

Use the following procedure to reload rules from the PROCLIB rule member:

  1. Edit the PROCLIB rule member as necessary.
  2. On the BMC AMI Energizer for IMS Connect - Primary Menu, enter 1.
    The Configuration panel for the related options library is displayed.
  3. Reload the ICON options.
    The updated PROCLIB rules become active.

After a successful reload, the following messages are displayed:

BMCIPR5855I Auto cancellation support is now INACTIVE

BMCIPA1400I ruleMemberName auto cancel rules processing complete

BMCIPR5855I Auto cancellation support is now ACTIVE
BMCIPR5601I CONNECT options reload processing complete
