Affinity Manager
The Affinity Manager uses these definitions to direct the request to any datastore that is capable of processing the transaction. Affinities are optional and should be active only when necessary. Affinities can be defined for the following items in an input message:
- IMS Transaction Code
- IMS Connect Client
- Datastore (destination)
- RACF (or equivalent) User ID
- RACF (or equivalent) Group ID
- Message ID
- TCP/IP Port Number
- Client IP address
Generic values are allowed for TranCode, client ID, DataStore, user ID, group ID, and IP address.
