Converting DELTA IMS objects to DELTA PLUS objects — ISPF conversion dialog utility

When you need DELTA IMS to utilize the optional features of DELTA PLUS, you must convert the specific DELTA IMS objects to their equivalent in DELTA PLUS.

The following objects do not need to be converted:

  • DELTA IMS User Profiles (UPF) data set
  • Translate Subsystem (TSS) table data sets
  • SAF resource profiles
  • IMSID Virtual Terminal and Extended Options

For information about installing DELTA PLUS, see the installation documentation.

Note

When initializing the ISPF conversion dialog utility for the first time after installation, disregard a message that indicates that Global options can not be found. This is a normal occurrence at the first use.
