By default, the PRINTER application class is disabled in the PATROL KM for UNIX. To turn on monitoring for this application class, follow these steps:
- Access the application class properties as described in Accessing Menu Commands, InfoBoxes, and Online Help
- Check the Active check box.
- Click OK.
PATROL closes the dialog box, runs discovery for this application, and creates the associated collector, consumer, and standard parameters.
