Defining configuration file settings
The Modify Agent Bundle Configuration window gives you the option of defining settings for agent configuration files.
This procedure is optional. If you do not define configuration file settings, default settings are applied to each newly installed agent. If you do make changes, the configuration files that you define are copied to the agent during execution of the Agent Installer Job.
For more information about settings for configuration files, see Setting-up-configuration-files.
Use care when defining non-default configurations. The installation process does not validate configuration settings. An incorrect setting can prevent an agent from starting or block users from accessing the agent.
To define configuration file settings
- For the exports, users.local, or secure file, enter the appropriate configuration file setting, or do any of the following:
- To import text into the text box, click Import. The Select File dialog box opens. Use it to navigate to a file that contains the text you want to use.
- To edit existing text, click Edit. A dialog box for editing opens.
- To remove all text, click Reset.
- Apply the settings you have defined for the exports, users.local, and secure files by selecting the applicable platforms in the Apply To list. Use the right arrow to move your selection to the list at right.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
