Use the Services Editor tab to edit the service model components for service models that you create in the administration console.
You cannot edit service model components that are imported from the BMC Atrium CMDB. You must edit those components in BMC Impact Model Designer, which you can launch from the Services Editor tab in the administration console. To edit a Service Model component
- Select a component and click the Edit Component icon on the toolbar.
- Select a component and select Edit> Edit Component from the menu.
- Right-click a component and select Edit Component from the menu.
- In the Edit Service Component dialog box, modify any of the component settings listed in Create component fields, except for the following fields, which you cannot edit:
- Home Cell
- Schedule ID
- Click Apply to save the changes, or click OK to save and exit the dialog box.
