BMC PATROL for Application Management has monitor types that are segregated based on their components. 

The following table lists the monitor types and their application classes available in BMC PATROL for Application Management. 

Application classes group together various categories of data in BMC PATROL Knowledge Modules (KMs) and provide functionality in the form of parameters, menu commands, and InfoBoxes. BMC PATROL for Application Management 10.5 includes the following application classes:
