Container types, containers, and agents
The --container-type
parameter specifies not only the type of the container in which the agent is being embedded, but also the type of web agent being used for integration. The TOMCAT
and WEBSPHERE
types are used exclusively for the original Web Agent. All of the remaining types (GENERIC
, TOMCATV6
, and so on) are used exclusively to deploy the newer JEE Filter agent. Make sure that you use the correct type for the agent.
