Roadmap for product setup

The following high-level steps provide an overview of the installation and configuration process.

Step 1Review the documentation.
Step 2Fulfill the prerequisites. For more information, see Planning.
Step 3
Install the product. For more information, see Installing BMC PATROL for SAP Solution Manager.
Step 4
Deploy SAP Java Connector files. For more information, see Deploying the SAP Java Connector files.
Step 5
Configure the connection between the product and each SAP Solution Manager system or SAP satellite system that you want to monitor. For more information, see Configuring BMC PATROL for SAP Solution Manager.
