AR authentication
If you have Remedy AR System integrated with BMC Helix Single Sign-On, you can configure a realm for AR authentication. Remedy AR System serves as an identity provider (IdP) in AR authentication flow.

The following table provides the AR authentication login flow:
| Stage | Description |
|---|---|
| 1 | BMC Helix SSO server determines that the Remedy AR System server-based authentication should be used. |
| 2 | BMC Helix SSO web application redirects an end user to the BMC Helix SSO login page. |
| 3 | The user enters credentials. The Remedy AR System then checks if the credentials are valid. |
| 4 | The BMC Helix SSO server communicates with the Remedy AR System server to authenticate the user. |
| 5 | The Remedy AR System server confirms the user authentication. |
