By default BMC PATROL for Web Services Monitoring discovers the Java home variable if it is defined in the environment variables. Use the Set Java Home command if you have not defined the Java home variable, or wish to use an alternative path to the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.6 or later.
To set Java home
- Select and right-click Web Services.
- Select KM Commands > Set Java Home.
- Enter a full path to Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.6 or later.
- Click Accept.
