This topic presents announcements that might affect future releases of the product. These changes can affect the way in which you configure or run the installed version of BMC Virtual Chat.
The integration with Microsoft Lync will be retired in versions after BMC Virtual Chat 9.1.01.This version of BMC Virtual Chat will continue to be supported as indicated on the support page.
Customers with existing installations of BMC Virtual Chat 9.1.01 or earlier will not be affected and can continue using the integration with Microsoft Lync. Customers using the Microsoft Lync integration will be able to upgrade to BMC Virtual Chat 9.1.02 and continue to use the integration with Microsoft Lync.
BMC’s support policy is to provide full support for at least 3 years from the GA date. This support includes service packs, patches, hotfixes, or workarounds to enable the product to operate in substantial conformity with its then-current operating documentation. BMC will provide full support for BMC Virtual Chat 9.1.01 as indicated on the support page.. For more details on BMC’s support policies, refer to the following link.
