Integrating with Microsoft SharePoint

To integrate BMC Virtual Chat with Microsoft SharePoint, an administrator must configure the following items:

• A SharePoint services connection defined in the Self Service Portal configuration section of the Virtual Chat Administration Console.

• A SharePoint Virtual Agent Query defined in the General Settings section of the Virtual Chat Administration Console.

  In BMC Virtual Chat version 9.1.01, the Microsoft SharePoint integration is deprecated.

This section describes the steps you must perform to integrate BMC Virtual Chat with Microsoft SharePoint:

1. Configure a SharePoint services connection.
2. Configure a SharePoint Virtual Agent Query.
3. Validate the SharePoint integration.
