System administrators can change the standard customer greeting, as part of customizing the Self Service Portal. The customer greeting can be in any of the locales selected while installing BMC Virtual Chat. For details about selecting locales, see Language information.
This feature works with the URL http://<MidTierServerName>:<portNumber>/eschat/ in BMC Virtual Chat version 9.1 and later.
Change the following values in Configuration.
|First greeting when a self-service user logs in the Self Service Portal.|
|First greeting when topics are not configured in BMC Virtual Chat.For more information about configuring topics, see Setting up support queues.|
|First greeting when BMC Virtual Chat is configured to launch directly with a live agent.|
