  1. Log on to BMC Remedy Developer Studio.

  3. In the Import window, select Application.

    Note

This file is imported as an application, not a definition.

  4. Navigate to the BMCChat_81.def file (from the installation package), and click Next.
  5. Select the Virtual Agent application from the list.
  6. Select the following options and click Import:

    Note

After the application has been installed, updates do not overwrite your existing configuration data.

  1. Point number 4 says Navigate to the BMCChat_80.def file (from the installation package), and click Next,

However the Manual Upgrade of 8.1.01 step brings to this page for importing the workflow in this case  its not the BMCChat_80.def however its the latest 81 def file that has to be imported, this is confusing most of our users.
