System administrators can change the standard customer greeting in an ES_Chat:DVVFFormatString form called Self Service.
Note
This feature works with http://midTierServerName:portNumber/eschat/arhome.html but not with http://midTierServerName:portNumber/eschat/ available with 8.1.02 and later.
To change the initial customer greeting
- In the Default Display Message section of the form, change the text of the initial greeting.
- Save your changes.
- Restart Apache Tomcat for your changes to take effect.
