Guidelines for users and user groups

You can create users in BMC Atrium SSO in the default BmcRealm tenant by logging in as the amAdmin user.

Do not include the "@" symbol in user names or tenant names. Because authentication uses the formatuser@tenant, an "@" symbol in the user name or tenant name causes the authentication to fail.

You can create users in BMC Atrium SSO in the default BmcRealm tenant by logging in as the amAdmin user.

Do not create a user with the same user name as a BMC Atrium Single Sign-On Administrator, like "amAdmin".

  • For information about creating, editing, or deleting users in the BMC Atrium SSO console, see  Managing users Open link  in the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On 9.0 documentation.
  •  To create, edit, or delete user groups in the BMC Atrium SSO console, perform the steps documented at  Managing user groups Open link  in the BMC Atrium Single Sign-On 9.0 documentation.
