    If you are moving from BMC Remedy on premises to BMC Remedy OnDemand, you should be aware of the following onboarding services that are available from BMC Global Services or a trusted partner:

    Description

    Solution Planning Workshop

    This workshop is intended to help you plan a migration from your on-premise version of BMC Remedy ITSM to the Remedy OnDemand GA version. The workshop analyzes the gaps between the on-premise and OnDemand systems. Additionally, it helps you to plan what data, customizations, and integrations should be brought into the new solution, as well as understand the technologies that can be used to help you successfully achieve your goals.

    Remedy On Premises to Remedy OnDemand Migration service

    This offering provides various migration options including the movement of on-premise Foundation Data, transactional data, customizations, and integration configurations to the Remedy OnDemand environment.

    Remedy OnDemand new implementation services

    This offering provides a net new out-of-the-box implementation for your BMC ITSM applications. This option is ideal if you do not wish to move any existing data or customizations from your on-premise system to the BMC cloud, allowing for a fresh start for your ITSM system.

    BMC recommends that customers obtain onboarding services through BMC Global Services or approved third parties. The BMC Remedy OnDemand service provides significant out-of-the-box functionality to allow customers to immediately realize value; however customers may choose to work with BMC Global Services or partners to customize their system based upon their business needs.
