To install Integration for BMC Remedy Service Desk , ensure that you install the following BMC components in the specified order:
- BMC Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Infrastructure Management CMDB Extensions
- Infrastructure Management installation program
To install, start, and configure Integration for BMC Remedy Service Desk, perform the following steps:
- Install BMC Remedy IT Service Management.
- Install Infrastructure Management CMDB Extensions, which includes the Integration for BMC Remedy Service Desk- AR System module.
- Install the BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server. The BMC TrueSight Infrastructure Management Server installation program automatically installs the integration module of Integration for BMC Remedy Service Desk.
- Restart the BMC Remedy Action Request System server. For more information, see the Installing section of the BMC Remedy Action Request System 8.1 online technical documentation.
- To start Integration for BMC Remedy Service Desk, perform the post installation tasks, as described in Post-installation tasks for Integration for BMC Remedy Service Desk.
- Configure Integration for BMC Remedy Service Desk.
