Allocate and manage resource quotas available to individual Tenants, which are shared by Reservation items. You can associate multiple Reservation items to use the resources allocated to a tenant. You can view and manage tenants added to the domain set as the root domain for the Tenants tab.

Displays the status of the corresponding Tenant.

The resource allocation is below allocated quotaAll the resources assigned to the Tenant have not been used and are available for Reservations associated with the Tenant.
Tenant resource allocation exceeds allocated quotaThe allocated quota exceeds the resources available for at least one of the resources assigned to the Tenant.
The tenant is no longer a child of root domainThe tenant is not a child of the domain that is currently set as the root. You can modify the Root domain for tenant hierarchy from the Settings page.
NameName of the Tenant
DescriptionDescription for the Tenant
Parent TenantDisplays the name of the parent Tenant (if the Tenant was adding to an existing Tenant domain)
Allocated resourcesDisplays the values for the resources (#Items, #vCPUs, CPU[GHz], Memory[GB], and Disk[GB]) allocated to the tenant.

Viewing details for a Tenant and setting the quota

Click a tenant from the list to view the details for a tenant. The Tenant Description and Parent Tenant (if applicable) are displayed.

Quota on allocated resources

The indicative used % and absolute quota values are displayed for each parameter.The indicative used % is the sum of resources used by all reservations in Evaluating Commit, Committed, and Realized state associated to a tenant.

Click to set the quota value for the parameters. This value is the proportional share of resources assigned to the Tenant, and available for use by all Reservations associated with the Tenant. This is the maximum collective value for the resources available to the Reservation items associated to the Tenant.

The list of Reservation items that are associated to the selected Tenant are listed below the tenant details

At least a quota is exceeded by the associated tenant OR Realization mode is manual. Start date is passed but Reservation still not placed.The realization mode for the newly created Reservation is set to manual and the start date has passed without the Reservation being placed.
The Reservation is feasible.The Reservation has been evaluated based on the Reservation Targets and is considered as feasible.

The reservation will be infeasible because the capacity of the reservation target where the reservation items has been placed will be exhausted.

The Reservation has been evaluated and is considered infeasible because the capacity of the Reservation Target will be exhausted by this Reservation.

The reservation will be infeasible because another reservation will exhaust the capacity of the reservation target where the reservation items will be placed OR

This Reservation will be infeasible because another Reservation will exhaust capacity of the Reservation Target - Realization mode is manual. Start date is passed but Reservation still not realized.

The Reservation has been evaluated and is considered infeasible because the capacity of the Reservation Target will be exhausted by an existing Reservation. OR

The realization mode of the newly created Reservation is set to manual and the start date has pass without the Reservation being realized. Also, the Reservation has been evaluated and is considered infeasible because the capacity of the Reservation Target will be exhausted by an existing Reservation.

The reservation will be infeasible because a reservation target is no longer valid or The associated tenant is no longer a child of root domain.The Reservation has been evaluated and is considered infeasible because the assigned Reservation Target is no longer in the system.
NameThe custom name entered for the Reservation.
IdA unique ID generated by the system for each Reservation.
External IdThe ID assigned while creating the Reservation.
PriorityThe priority assigned to the Reservation.
Start dateThe date from which the Reservation is applicable.
End dateThe date after which the Reservation will release/expire.
TenantThe name of the tenant to which the Reservation is associated. This column is available only if the Tenants feature has been enabled. For more information, see Tenants.
Capacity PoolThe capacity pool used by the Reservation. The cell is blank if a Capacity Pool was not selected while creating the Reservation.
RequirementsDisplays various requirements, such as number of Virtual CPUs, CPU (speed/core fractions), Memory, and Disk space.
Status

Displays the status for each Reservation:

Accepted: The Reservation was accepted as valid, but it is not assigned to any Reservation Target.

Pending: The user has defined target Reservation Targets. The confirmation of available resources and assignment on target Reservation Targets is still pending.

Evaluating Commit: The Reservation Target have been selected, and the Auto Forecasting Service (AFS) is evaluating resource impact of this Reservation.

Committed: The Reservation Target were selected and the Reservation is now confirmed.

Realized: The provision date of a Reservation has elapsed, but the decommission date has not been reached.

Expired: The decommission date of the Reservation has elapsed, or the provision date has elapsed, and the decommission date was not set.

Declined: The Reservation request is declined. The Reservation exists, but is ignored by the Auto Forecasting Service (AFS).
