BMC Software is alerting users that supported browsers might stop accepting the SHA-1 algorithm for SSL certificates from June 2016. This algorithm is used for signing the default SSL certificate that is generated during the installation of BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization 10.3.00.
You are recommended to replace the default certificate with the one that is trusted by public or by your internal Certification Authority. If you have already completed this task, no action is required.
If you have not yet replaced the default certificate as recommended, you must regenerate this certificate according to the policies supported by your browser (for example, using the SHA-256 algorithm in the Certificate Signature) before the browsers stop accepting the SHA-1 algorithm. Otherwise, you will not be able to use the default SSL certificate. For more details, see Managing the default SSL certificates.
